About Us
Bangs Care LLC was founded by Zainab Bangura, a woman with a deep passion for helping others and a long history of working in the health care field. After many years of serving people, she decided to create Bangs Care, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making life better for individuals with developmental disabilities. Her goal is to improve their quality of life and standard of living while allowing them to remain in the comfort of their own homes.
At Bangs Care, we believe that every person deserves to live with dignity, joy, and a sense of purpose. For this reason, we focus on providing home-based support. This means the people we serve can stay in a place that feels safe and familiar, surrounded by their families, friends, and communities, instead of having to move into institutions or unfamiliar settings.
